Disintergrated Memories
is a work that came forward in a fasination of mine how when we retell stories or events from the past the details always eventually get scrambled, the pictures are taken moments leading or after significant events (for better and for worse) in my life. though i remenber taking the photo's i dont remember the fine details around them, only the bigger picture.
the work consists of 3 pictures, that i have soaked in water multiple time. by exposing the pictures to water the paper starts to slowly disintergrate and the more you expose it the more this disintergration starts to show. eventually the paper starts to tear and i lost pieces. but still i reconstructed it. as how i rememberd it without reverence.
this is the new picture
our memories form an incomplete puzzel where the pieces always tend to fit with each other even if they dont.
